Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Labourer

Plein-R INC. is seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Labourer to join our team. As a Grounds Maintenance Labourer, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions and installations
  • Tie and secure plants, trees, and other vegetation
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their health and appearance
  • Rake and collect refuse, including leaves and debris
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed
  • Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees in designated areas
  • Apply fertilizers and other treatments to promote healthy plant growth
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure their optimal health
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other tools
  • Remove trees and other vegetation as needed
Requirements:
  • Experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including equipment and materials
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labour for extended periods
Working Conditions:
  • Work will be performed outdoors in various locations, including parks, gardens, and private residences
  • May be required to work in inclement weather, including extreme temperatures and precipitation
  • May be required to work at heights, including ladders and scaffolding
