Key Responsibilities- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy to ensure safe transportation of goods
- Load and unload goods with precision and care
- Maintain the condition of your vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment on a regular basis
- Perform emergency roadside repairs when necessary
- Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure all aspects of your vehicle are functioning properly
- Communicate effectively with central dispatch to receive and relay critical information
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- Tarp goods securely to ensure safety and security during transit
- Valid Class 1 or A Driver's License
- Willingness to travel cross-border, extended periods, and internationally
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Organized and reliable with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
