Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

La bosco Bakery &Cafe is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our cafeteria and coffee shop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Training: Train and supervise staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high-quality service and food standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
  • Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules to meet operational needs, ensuring adequate staffing levels.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a cafeteria or coffee shop setting.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30-44 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
