Senior Compliance Director

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Compliance Director to join our team at Transamerica. This role will be responsible for leading our compliance efforts, ensuring we maintain the highest standards of regulatory excellence in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and implement comprehensive compliance strategies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain policies, procedures, and training programs that promote a culture of compliance.
  • Provide expert guidance on regulatory matters, ensuring our organization stays ahead of emerging trends and risks.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, business partners, and employees.
  • Develop and manage budgets for compliance initiatives, ensuring effective resource allocation and ROI.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in insurance compliance, with senior-level management responsibilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of Canadian insurance regulatory requirements and experience working with regulators (AMF, FSRA, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Certified Compliance Professional (CCP) designation an asset.

Benefits:

  • Estimated salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
