Audit and Accounting Professional

KPMG Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join its dynamic Enterprise Audit group in St-Eustache. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in helping clients manage risk and improve their financial performance.
Key Responsibilities- Apply KPMG's audit and accounting practices and methodologies at client engagements
- Conduct financial statement review and compilations for private companies
- Lead field engagement teams and coach and mentor junior staff members
- Perform analysis of complex accounting issues
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients
- Accounting or business degree
- Successful completion of the CFE and/or working towards a CPA designation
- 2+ years post-graduate experience with a public accounting firm
- Excellent project management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Experience with ASPE and ASNPO
- Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand clients' businesses and maintain strong client relationships
- Dedication and motivation to achieve high standards of client service and professional performance
- Experience mentoring and delegating work to junior staff
- Previous experience and technical knowledge to the benefit of clients
- Able to use a range of techniques to analyze issues
