About the Role

As a Casual Sales Associate at Alcool NB Liquor, you will be an engaged member of our retail team, using your customer-first mindset to excel in sales. You will bring a strong passion for the liquor industry and enjoy sharing your knowledge with customers to build a strong team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver an excellent customer service experience
  • Educate customers on products and make suggestions to maximize sales
  • Process cash and point-of-sale transactions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on products and promotions
  • Visual merchandising and store organization
  • Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks in the store warehouse
  • Routine office, clerical, and light cleaning tasks

Requirements

  • At least 19 years old and not currently employed by a brewing, distilling, or alcohol-producing company
  • At least 1 year of sales or customer service experience, previous experience in the alcohol or service industry is an asset
  • Lifting up to 40 lbs to receive and process stock
  • Legally able to work in Canada without sponsorship
  • Ability to work flexible scheduling, including days, evenings, weekends, and short notice call-in as required
