Job Summary:

The Municipal Group of Companies is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Class 3 Side Load Driver to join our team. As a key member of our environmental services team, you will be responsible for operating a Class 3, Sideloader Refuse vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Class 3, Sideloader Refuse vehicle on assigned routes to collect and transport waste and recyclables
  • Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Load and unload heavy materials, tools, and equipment under varying traffic and road conditions
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors to receive delivery instructions and report any issues
  • Ensure a safe work environment by following all safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Valid commercial driver's license with a clear driver abstract
  • Class 3 driver's license with air brake endorsement
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 20-75 pounds on a regular basis
