About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of Computer Science courses, including leading discussions, grading assignments, and proctoring exams. Additionally, they will provide administrative support for the course, including preparing course materials and coordinating with instructors.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the delivery of Computer Science courses, including leading discussions and grading assignments
- Proctor exams and provide administrative support for the course
- Prepare course materials and coordinate with instructors
- Communicate effectively with students and instructors
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science with a major average of 75%
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain subject material to students
- Punctuality in attending classes and meeting deadlines
Compensation:
Teaching Assistant and Course Coordinator positions are paid according to the qualifications that the employee holds. Employees who do NOT hold a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree will be paid the undergraduate rate. Employees who hold a 4-year honours degree or a 3-year pass degree will be paid the graduate rate.
