Senior Vehicle Technician

First Student is seeking a skilled Senior Vehicle Technician to join our team in Windsor, ON. As a Licensed Mechanic, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our school buses to ensure vehicle readiness and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual MTO maintenance inspections on school buses.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle and equipment issues, including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
- Ensure work orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with mobile emergency services as needed.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license required.
- Holds a T license.
- Possess a mechanic's tool set.
- Willingness to participate in ASE certification program.
