Employment Specialist

triOS College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employment Specialist to join our team. As an Employment Specialist, you will play a critical role in connecting our graduates with job opportunities and providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source job and internship leads for our graduates
  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate employers
  • Conduct corporate presentations to promote our graduates and programs
  • Deliver Employment Ready workshops to our students
  • Meet job placement and internship targets
  • Work with Marketing to develop student success stories and graduate profiles
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Social Sciences, Education, Psychology, Business, or Career Development
  • Minimum three years of experience in recruitment and/or business development
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of employment search techniques, career management competencies, and one-to-one counseling techniques
  • Labour market trends and information
  • Computer literacy in MS Office, Internet, and email
