Medical Office Assistant Locum

Job Summary
Excel Personnel is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to provide temporary support to our medical clients in Prince George. As a Medical Office Assistant Locum, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care, maintaining electronic medical records, and performing administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care through the clinic, including checking in, prepping, and escorting patients to exam rooms.
- Maintain electronic medical records, including patient charts and billing information.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, operating fax machines, and ordering medical supplies.
- Support the Attachment Mechanism Coordinator with system maintenance and liaison activities.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency with office equipment, including computers and fax machines.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Valid BC Driver's License and own transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical terminology and Electronic Medical Record Systems.
- CPR Level A certification.
