About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at SHERWOOD DESIGN AND PRINT. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and effective designs for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development
    • Design and produce high-quality visual communications materials, including graphics, logos, and branding elements.
    • Develop and implement design concepts and ideas that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Client Collaboration
    • Work closely with clients to understand their design needs and preferences.
    • Consult with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations and graphics.
  • Project Management
    • Coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, and electronic materials.
    • Manage and coordinate sub-contracting with external vendors.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and mentor junior designers and graphic arts technicians.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 1-2 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Skills
    • Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Strong understanding of design principles and visual communications.
    • Excellent communication and project management skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting
    • Graphic design firm, printing shop, or advertising agency.
  • Supervision
    • 1-2 people.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Language
    • English.
  • Work Hours
    • 30 hours per week.
