Job Title: Accounting Technician

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Technician to join our team at Grand River Granite LTD. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and financial tasks, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Payroll Administration: Prepare and process payroll, including calculating pay, deductions, and benefits.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: College diploma or equivalent in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and QuickBooks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
