As a key member of our Private Assets team, you'll collaborate with accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can rely on.

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a Senior Vice President of Private Asset Management to lead our Private Assets team. The ideal candidate will have a University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or professional accounting designation (CFA, CGA, CMA, CA, CPA).
  • The selected candidate should have at least 12+ years of public/private accounting experience, predominantly in the private assets or private equity sector. Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably as an Executive Vice President or equivalent, is also required.
  • A strong background in managing client relationships and/or controllership function of an alternative asset manager is essential. Additionally, expertise with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, particularly in the context of the alternative asset management sector, is highly desirable.
  • The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, and experienced user of the FIS Investran PE accounting platform. Strong negotiation, business planning, and budgeting skills are necessary.
  • Project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task are critical for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic leader to partner in developing and driving the future vision of Private Assets.
  • Assist with recruitment, employee assessment, and business planning.
  • Monitor and manage Risk and Performance Dashboards across clients.
  • Implement global standards for work processes and ensure ongoing monitoring of control environment.
  • Provide exceptional client service to a group of high-profile Private Asset Funds.
  • Develop and oversee critical projects that produce cost and production efficiencies.
  • Participate in and lead projects defined from time to time in connection with the continuing expansion and evolution of the business.
