Insurance Advisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Advisor to join our Personal Insurance team at BrokerLink. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, advising on insurance matters, and developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Service ongoing client needs, provide insurance advice, conduct needs assessments, recommend solutions, and answer inquiries.
- Sell new policies and retain existing business by quoting new business through outbound calls, introductory letters, and receiving walk-in clients.
- Contact underwriters and adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy.
- Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for clients, issue insurance certificates, process changes, and review renewals.
- Stay up-to-date on underwriting rules and workflow processes.
- Participate in training initiatives and community marketing efforts.
- High School and/or Post-Secondary Education.
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience (previous insurance sales experience preferred but not required).
- Level 1 General license or willingness to obtain.
- Exposure to Epic is an asset.
- Strong customer focus, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check.
