About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Shopify Developer to join our team at Addresx, a leading boutique Shopify Plus Partner. As a Senior Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing large-scale eCommerce websites on the Shopify platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop full-scale Shopify builds and migrations, working closely with our design and strategy teams to create seamless, high-performing eCommerce stores.
- Lead full lifecycle projects, including requirement analysis, platform selection, technical architecture, application design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Implement modern JavaScript and Shopify's Liquid to achieve customized functionalities and excellent site performance.
- Conduct migrations from other commerce platforms to Shopify, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
- Optimize website architecture, internal link structure, and SEO capabilities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in Shopify development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing on the Shopify platform, preferably in an agency setting.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript and extensive experience with Shopify's Liquid templating language.
- Demonstrated experience with full builds and migrations on Shopify.
- Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize code for the best possible outcome.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git.
- Full stack development experience is a plus.
