Job Title: Medical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Specialist to join our team at the Eastern Regional Health Authority.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in a hospital setting. This is a permanent position with a 75-hour bi-weekly work schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Act as consultants to other physicians and order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various medical conditions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in the field.
Requirements
  • Medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Specialty residency training and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
