About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at A Child's World. As a key member of our child care centre, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist co-workers in maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers, and assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs
  • Lead activities, such as storytelling, teaching songs, and taking children on outings
  • Encourage children to express creativity through various media
  • Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits

Requirements:

  • Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a team environment
