Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one support to patients, promoting independence and dignity
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any concerns to assigned nurses
  • Engage patients in conversation, stimulating mental and emotional well-being
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations
Requirements
  • Effective communication skills, with English proficiency required
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, and nights
  • CPR certification and recent police check for the vulnerable sector
  • Negative TB test result from within the last year
  • Mobile device and internet access
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to work well under pressure
Expectations
  • Dress professionally and wear an identification badge
  • Sit attentively with patients, observing and reporting any concerns
  • Respect patient boundaries and maintain confidentiality
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
  • Never leave a patient unattended
