Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Department Manager to oversee the receiving and processing of merchandise at our Walmart Canada location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of associates to ensure a safe and efficient flow of merchandise to the sales floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to a safe and clean work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and reset the Receiving Area to ensure a smooth flow of merchandise.
  • Unload and sort general merchandise trailers, and complete live unloading of other types of merchandise.
  • Delegate and follow-up on tasks, including pulling pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing.
  • Assist in stocking, applying product protection, and binning overstock merchandise.
  • Provide training, coaching, and feedback to associates.
  • Act as team lead by providing direction to CAP 2 Associates.
  • Maintain the cold chain for refrigerated and frozen receiving.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain a safe and clean work environment, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
