About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Lead to join our Critical Infrastructure team.

This role will involve managing environmental site assessments, remediation projects, and supervising junior professional staff and technical staff involved in field investigations, budget control, client liaison, and report preparation and review.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in the environmental industry and a diverse background in environmental site assessment, remediation, risk assessment, field sampling, and reclamation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
  • Prepare correspondence, written reports, and presentations for regulators, clients, and senior personnel.
  • Manage inter-disciplinary teams of professionals and supporting labor categories.
  • Integrate competing and/or conflicting elements into planning and execution processes.
  • Act as the Company representative with clients and subcontractors during work execution.
  • Participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and public meetings in support of clients.
  • Work with other managers and project team members to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for various project elements.
  • Devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays.
  • Promote technical and commercial excellence through Quality Assurance processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 4-year degree in Environmental, Chemical, Engineering, or related technical/business field.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills and knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
  • A diverse background in environmental site assessment, remediation, risk assessment, field sampling, and reclamation.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
