We are an entrepreneurial-minded organization that fosters a culture of innovation and growth. We invest time and resources into our employees, providing them with opportunities to learn and develop their expertise. We are currently seeking an Apprentice Mechanic to join our Service Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial inspections to diagnose problems using test drives and test instruments, such as pressure gauges, motor analyzers, and other equipment as needed.
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs, including air and hydraulic brake repairs, warranty procedures, steering and suspension, electrical diagnostics, and more.
  • Clean, repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components.
  • Responsible for getting equipment back up and running in the most efficient and cost-effective manner available.
  • Ensure all tasks are performed according to Charger safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Valid Truck & Trailer license required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clear driving record.
  • Knowledge of truck parts and equipment, as well as truck repairs.
  • Knowledge of DOT/MTO rules and regulations is an asset.
  • Effective problem solver with the ability to understand issues and find solutions in a timely manner.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
