Job Overview

As a Senior User Experience Designer at SEB Administrative Services Inc., you will be responsible for creating and documenting design details and requirements to support website design and benefits awareness and enrollment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability studies to understand user behaviors and needs and analyze and interpret research findings to inform design decisions.
  • Develop site maps, user flows, and wireframes to outline the structure and functionality of digital products and ensure information architecture aligns with user needs and business goals.
  • Design interactive prototypes and user interfaces based on user personas and behaviors and create and iterate on design solutions to enhance usability and accessibility.
  • Develop visually appealing and consistent design elements, including color schemes, typography, and iconography, and collaborate with graphic designers to ensure a cohesive and visually pleasing user interface.
  • Plan and conduct usability tests to gather feedback on prototypes and live products and analyze test results and make data-driven design improvements.
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align design solutions with project goals and provide design guidance and support throughout the development process.
  • Advocate for a user-centered design approach within the organization and stay current with industry trends and best practices in UX design.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product design at a consumer or SaaS product company.
  • Technical Competencies:
    • Strong proficiency with interactive prototyping tools.
    • Mastery of Figma, XD, Sketch, or Adobe Suite.
    • Strong understanding of systems, grids, colors, layout, typography, identity, and brand principles.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and make informed decisions.
