We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Reporting Expert to join our team at Recursion. As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in facilitating the efficient completion of our financial reporting process and most complex accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare SEC annual and quarterly 10-K / 10-Q filings, including financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Own complex accounting processes, such as revenue, stock-based compensation, leases, software, goodwill, intangibles, and consolidations.
  • Perform technical accounting research and implement accounting for ad-hoc complex transactions, including Business Combinations, Revenue, Equity, and embedded derivatives.
  • Prepare adoption of new accounting pronouncements, understanding and implementing technical accounting rules.
  • Assist in Recursion's Sarbanes-Oxley 404b compliance processes, policies, and procedures, including quality execution for SEC reporting.
  • Interface with finance leadership, external auditors, attorneys, and internal teams.

This role is based in Salt Lake City, but we also consider hybrid work arrangements for this position in San Francisco or New York. You will be eligible for a competitive salary range: $114,000 (Developing), $126,000 (Skilled), $140,000 (Expert).
