Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming members and customers warmly and courteously, and quickly ascertaining their needs to direct them to the appropriate resources or individuals.
  • Providing general information on Desjardins Group's service offer and promoting our products and services.
  • Assisting members and customers in the optimal use of alternative tools and channels, such as ATMs, AccèsD Internet and telephone, Desjardins mobile services, and complementary channels.
  • Ensuring a reasonable waiting time in the waiting room and maintaining member and customer satisfaction.
  • Paying attention to the needs of members and customers to ensure their full satisfaction and seize sales opportunities.
  • Strengthening the trust members and customers have in Desjardins by adequately meeting their needs.
  • Scheduling appointments following the process established by the caisse, as needed.
  • Answering and routing phone calls and collecting and providing general information, as required.

What You Bring to the Table
  • A high school diploma in a related field.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of French is required.
  • Intermediate advanced proficiency in English, due to the nature of the duties or work tools, or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members, and/or clients.
  • An understanding of the philosophy and fundamentals of financial services cooperatives.
  • Knowledge of reception procedures.
  • Knowledge of the general responsibilities of the caisse teams (organizational structure, roles, and responsibilities).
  • Availability to work one evening a week until 8:00 p.m.
