Food Service Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Food Counter Attendant to join our team at A&W. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment for our customers.
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Keep records of the quantities of food used to ensure accurate inventory management.
- Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
- Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile and provide exceptional customer service.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure a wide range of options for our customers.
- Take customers' orders and respond to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare for food preparation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work overtime as required to meet customer demands.
- Reliability and punctuality to ensure a smooth operation.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction.
- Handle heavy loads and work under pressure to meet customer demands.
- Stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
