Senior Manager and Tax Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our Domestic Tax team at BDO Canada LLP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating client business processes and policies, advising on tax policy and changes to meet market needs, and developing proactive tax strategies to make business opportunities effective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate client business processes and policies to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize tax efficiency.
- Advise clients on tax policy and changes to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities.
- Develop and implement proactive tax strategies to capitalize on business opportunities and drive growth.
- Provide technical and project management leadership to team members on Domestic Tax projects and assignments.
- Ensure quality control standards are in place and maintained throughout all projects.
- Identify and develop strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities.
- Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team.
Requirements:
- CPA designation and In-Depth Tax Program or Master's in Tax.
- 7 years of experience in public accounting with a specialization in Tax for a minimum of 3 years.
- Extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal, and trust tax planning and compliance.
