Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tax Return Specialist to join our team. As a Tax Return Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing tax returns, receiving payments from customers, and performing reception and clerical duties.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare Tax Returns: Accurately prepare tax returns for individual and business clients, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Receive Payments: Receive payments from customers and process transactions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform Reception and Clerical Duties: Provide exceptional customer service, answer telephone calls, and perform various administrative tasks as needed.
- Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our database software, ensuring seamless access to client information.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in using spreadsheet software, internet, and CANTAX to perform tasks efficiently.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Personal Suitability: Ability to multitask, accurate, client-focused, excellent oral communication, organized, and reliable.
This is a seasonal position, working 35 to 48 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced, and the ability to work under pressure is essential.
