Retail Procurement Specialist

Xanadu Bath Inc is seeking a skilled Retail Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, ensuring adequate stock levels, and negotiating prices and terms.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement and Sourcing: Identify and select high-quality merchandise for resale, taking into account market trends, customer demand, and product life cycles.
- Supplier Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, competitive pricing, and excellent customer service.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets, ensuring accurate inventory levels and minimizing stockouts or overstocking.
- Business Analysis: Conduct market research and analyze sales data to inform purchasing decisions and optimize our product offerings.
- Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of procurement strategies.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
