Process Engineer Associate

About the Role:

Svante is a rapidly growing clean energy technology company making commercial-scale carbon capture and removal a reality. As the Associate Process Engineer, you will be part of a team that enables global industries to play offense in the fight against climate change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform process simulations to improve performance and sensitivity analysis.
  • Prepare heat and mass balance and Process Flow Diagrams.
  • Evaluate different heat integration options on capital cost and operational cost.
  • Participate in the selection, sizing and costing of process equipment for new opportunity implementation.
  • Provide support for the preparation of proposals, studies and technical evaluation reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • At least - years of previous experience.
  • Ability to occasional international and domestic travel.
  • Familiarity with using ASPEN Hysys simulation tool.
  • Proven skills with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in communicating with vendors.
  • Basic knowledge in process engineering.
