Software Validation Engineer

CS Group Canada, a leading developer of safety-critical systems, is seeking a skilled Software Verification Engineer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:- Test embedded software applications on aircraft and space systems, including engine control, flight management systems, and display/avionics systems.
- Develop and run tests on test platforms to verify design correctness.
- Debug issues in engine control software.
- Ensure traceability between software design and test artefacts.
- Conduct independent peer reviews of tests produced by team members.
- Draft final technical documents.
- Participate in continuous improvement of team performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science.
- Experience with engine control software.
- Interest in troubleshooting complex software problems.
- Knowledge of C language and scripting languages like Python.
- Knowledge of testing tools Rational RTRT and/or LDRA.
- Software knowledge: Microsoft Office, DOORS, SVN.
