Software Validation Engineer

CS Group Canada, a leading provider of safety-critical systems, is seeking a skilled Software Validation Specialist to join their team.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for testing embedded software applications on aircraft and space systems, ensuring compliance with DO-178 standards.
Key Responsibilities- Test embedded software applications on aircraft and space systems
- Develop and run relevant tests on test platforms to verify correctness of design
- Debug issues raised during the software development cycle in engine control software
- Ensure traceability between software design and test artefacts
- Conduct independent peer reviews on tests produced by other team members
- Draft final technical documents
- Participate in continuous improvement of team performance
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience with engine control software
- Interest in troubleshooting complex software problems
- Knowledge of C language and scripting languages like Python
- Knowledge of testing tools Rational RTRT and/or LDRA
- Software knowledge: Microsoft Office, DOORS, SVN
- Remote work
