Accounting Technician

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Technician to join our team at Peaceland Oilfield Services Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including financial record-keeping, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets
- Perform financial analysis and prepare financial reports, including budget variances and financial forecasts
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Perform other accounting tasks as required
- 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
- Post-secondary education in accounting or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The position requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
