We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Translator to join our team at Express Scripts Inc. as an IT Documentation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for translating our IT technical documents, including user guides, release notes, and fixes, into French.
Key Responsibilities- Translate complex IT technical documents from English to French, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate with the translation team to share technical revision tasks and ensure timely completion.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Express Scripts' terminology and style guide.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and consistency.
- Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality translations within specified timelines.
- University degree in translation from English to French.
- At least 7 years of technical translation experience in the IT industry, with a focus on Information Technology, Information Systems, Group Insurance, and Group Benefits.
- Member of the OTTIAQ (an asset).
- Excellent organizational and priority setting abilities.
- Mastery of English and French grammar.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good knowledge of tools such as Acrobat, Adobe FrameMaker, and Visio (an asset).
- Ability to work with computer-assisted translation software (MemoQ).
