Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cable Installation Assistant to join our team at ADL PROPERTY SERVICES LTD. As a Cable Installation Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers in various locations. Your primary duties will include moving tools, equipment, and materials, troubleshooting and resolving technical problems, and connecting cables, tubes, and wires.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials to and from job sites.
  • Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Read blueprints and electrical schematics to understand job requirements.
  • Connect cables, tubes, and wires to ensure safe and efficient electrical systems.
  • Assist in operation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems.

Work Environment:

  • Work in various locations, including outdoors and in confined spaces.
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and ensure job completion.
  • Perform repetitive tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Dependability, organized, reliability, team player, and good judgement.
