We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Instrumentation Mechanic to join our team at Teck, a leading mining company. This role is based in the Trail Operations, one of the world's largest fully integrated zinc and lead smelting and refining complexes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead by example in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to and promoting safety and environmental rules and procedures.
- Install, calibrate, repair, and maintain field instrumentation and final control elements.
- Collaborate with a team of maintenance peers to achieve operational excellence.
- Hold an Inter-Provincial Red Seal Instrumentation Mechanic Ticket.
- Have knowledge of Foxboro and ABB Systems, with Modicon PLC's and Wonderware HMI's being an asset.
- Be WHIMIS certified and possess experience in an industrial environment.
- Hold a valid driver's license and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
