About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Journeyperson Instrumentation Mechanic to join our team at Teck's Trail Operations, one of the world's largest fully integrated zinc and lead smelting and refining complexes.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a team-oriented environment of maintenance peers, where you will be responsible for installing, calibrating, repairing, and maintaining field instrumentation and final control elements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Install, calibrate, repair and maintain field instrumentation and final control elements
  • Perform in a team-oriented environment of maintenance peers

Requirements:

  • Inter-Provincial Red Seal Instrumentation Mechanic Ticket
  • Knowledge of Foxboro and ABB Systems would be considered an asset
  • Knowledge of Modicon PLC's and Wonderware HMI's
  • WHIMIS certification
  • Experience in an industrial environment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
