Environmental & Regulatory Specialist - Calgary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental & Regulatory Specialist to join our team in Calgary. As an Environmental & Regulatory Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our upstream operations and ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Provide environmental and engineering advice to support day-to-day upstream operations, project development, and regulatory approvals.
- Assist in the administration of regulatory and environmental managing systems at Upstream operations.
- Organize, develop, conduct, and report on effective air, water, soil, wildlife monitoring and/or site assessment programs.
- Coordinate and supervise work of consultants and contractors.
- Assist in the development of environmental impact assessments and mitigation plans.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Environmental Sciences.
- Demonstrated leadership and strong academic skills.
- Previous industry experience is considered beneficial, but not essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
- Commitment to safety on and off the job.
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic, results-oriented individuals who are energized by working with people and achieving superior results.
