Environmental and Regulatory Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental and Regulatory Student to join our team in Calgary. As an Environmental and Regulatory Student, you will play a key role in supporting our upstream operations and providing environmental and regulatory advice to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide environmental and engineering advice on environmental aspects to support day-to-day upstream operations, project development, and regulatory approvals.
- Assist in the administration of regulatory and environmental managing systems at Upstream operations.
- Coordinate and supervise work of consultants and contractors.
- Organize, develop, conduct, and report on effective air, water, soil, wildlife monitoring and/or site assessment programs.
- Spill Prevention and Response.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Environmental Sciences.
- Demonstrated leadership and strong academic skills.
- Previous industry experience is considered beneficial but not essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
