- Oversee Payroll Administration: You will be responsible for overseeing payroll administration, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Supervise Office and Volunteer Staff: You will be responsible for supervising office and volunteer staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Education: You will require a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: You will require 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Supervision: You will be responsible for supervising 5-10 people.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Personal Suitability: You will require excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
- Support for Persons with Disabilities: You will be responsible for providing awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: You will be responsible for recruiting newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster, supporting them with foreign credential recognition, and offering mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
- Support for Youth: You will be responsible for offering on-the-job training tailored to youth and providing awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Support for Veterans: You will be responsible for providing awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans, offering workshops, counselling services, or other resources to help Veterans navigate their transition into the civilian workforce.
- Support for Indigenous People: You will be responsible for providing cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Support for Mature Workers: You will be responsible for applying hiring policies that discourage age discrimination, providing staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers, and offering phased retirement options that allow mature workers to gradually reduce their workload.
- Support for Visible Minorities: You will be responsible for applying hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, providing diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
