About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer and Finisher to join our team at All Rounder Construction Services Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply multiple coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for installation
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
  • Fills joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets to ensure a precise fit
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts and electrical outlets
  • Install acoustic tile, hangers for suspended ceilings and metal studs for composition wallboard or lath
  • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools
  • Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation
  • Prepare wall and ceiling layouts
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
