About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at All Rounder Construction Services Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Finishing: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Taping and Jointing: Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a seamless finish.
  • Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation, including cutting openings for electrical outlets and installing metal corner beads.
  • Insulation and Barrier Installation: Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation to ensure a comfortable and energy-efficient environment.
  • Blueprint Reading and Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and finishing.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding work environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, judgement, and team player skills.
