About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at YARROW LIMITED PARTNERSHIP.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, feeding, and transferring patients.
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to supervisory staff.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including bed-making, laundry, and disposal of waste.
  • Assist with medication administration and tracking, as per facility policy.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Immunization records
  • Tuberculosis test
  • Adult Abuse Registry check
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
