Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Giorgi Bros (1994) Inc. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade specifications.
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
  • Level the top surface of concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
  • Impart the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and ensure they are waterproof and durable.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain our high standards.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working on-site at various locations. You will be required to work 40 hours per week and may be required to work overtime as needed.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
