Job Overview:

Giorgi Bros (1994) Inc. is seeking a skilled concrete finisher to join our team. As a concrete finisher and installation specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of finished concrete surfaces.

Estimated Salary Range:$60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Installation Tasks:
    • Verify formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials are accurate and meet specifications
    • Conduct thorough inspections to identify any potential issues that may impact the quality of the finished surface
  • Concrete Placement and Finishing:
    • Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade and depth specifications
    • F fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
    • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure optimal settling
    • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification
    • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Post-Installation Tasks:
    • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures
    • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces
    • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces as needed
    • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures

Work Conditions and Requirements:

This role is physically demanding and requires frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. Applicants must have excellent physical stamina and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
