About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Zaika Tastes of India Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and service of food, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and safe food handling practices.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Prepare and submit reports on food order summaries, sales, and other key performance indicators.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth and Indigenous workers, promoting diversity and inclusion.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
