Job Summary

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Scheduler to join the Home Support team in Squamish. As a Scheduler, you will play a vital role in coordinating and planning Community Care Assistant (CCA) schedules, ensuring seamless delivery of home support services to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and plan CCA schedules in advance, allocating work assignments in accordance with client referrals, care plans, and collective agreements.
  • Respond to inquiries related to scheduling of Home Support Services, providing accurate and timely information to clients and staff.
  • Utilize online systems and documentation to process employee transactions, including employment requisitions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate timekeeping records for staff, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 education.
  • Two years' recent experience in scheduling, coordinating, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Office and online scheduling systems.
