We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Chopped Leaf. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and manage work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant environment.
  • Supervise and train staff in food preparation, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Coordinate food preparation and portioning to ensure that our menu items are prepared to our high standards.
  • Manage inventory and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet customer demand.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards to ensure that our food meets our high standards.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure that our operations are financially sustainable.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our business decisions.
Work Environment

As a Food Service Supervisor at The Chopped Leaf, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of dedicated staff. You will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively supervise and train staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
