Wood is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Mining & Minerals team in Saskatoon, SK. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for potash and uranium projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for mining projects, including potash and uranium.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical systems meet project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and technical reports.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor mechanical system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in mechanical engineering.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada, with the ability to register in the province of Saskatchewan.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on mining projects.
  • Knowledge of materials handling, mechanical package experience, and fabrication is an asset.
  • Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organizational skills.
  • Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood.
