Senior Mechanical Engineer Opportunity

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Mining & Minerals team at our Saskatoon, SK office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions for potash, lithium, uranium, and base metal projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for mining and minerals projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in mechanical engineering and design codes
  • Perform calculations for equipment design, such as tanks, pumps, and conveyors
  • Work on challenging, innovative, and sustainable solutions for potash, lithium, uranium, and base metal projects
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience with potash and/or uranium plant design and operations
  • Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (with APEGS in the Province of Saskatchewan)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
